Sec. 14-401. - Adopted; purpose; copy on file.¶

(a) The 2022 California Building Standards Code (this part known as the California Referenced Standards Code (part 12)), as promulgated by the California Building Standards Commission, adopting standards by reference, is hereby adopted by the city, except as otherwise provided herein. The "Administrative Provisions of the Sanger Building Code", as detailed in section 14-6 shall apply to the administration of the California Referenced Standards Code and all references in the administrative provisions of the Sanger Building Code shall mean and include the California Referenced Standards Code, as amended by this article.

(b) One copy of the California Referenced Standards Code is on file in the office of the building official and is available for public review.
