San Mateo Municipal Code Ch. 2.25 Housing Rehabilitation Loan Committee

The Housing Rehabilitation Loan Committee heretofore appointed constitutes the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Committee of the City. It shall consist of five (5) voting members.The five (5) members shall be appointed by the Council. Insofar as possible, four of the five (5) members shall be representative of the following communities or interest groups:

(a) Financial lenders;

(b) A property owner or resident of a neighborhood eligible for Community Development Block Grants;

(c) Building construction industry; and

(d) Real estate.

The fifth member shall be the Director of Community Development or other staff representative as designated by the City Manager.

The duties of the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Committee shall be to review and take action on all applications to the City for rehabilitation loans and to review and recommend to the City Council any changes in loan terms or other matters concerning housing rehabilitation loans.
