5-6200 - WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS.¶
All nonresidential users proposing to connect to or discharge into a sanitary sewer must first obtain a wastewater discharge permit before connecting to or discharging into a sanitary sewer. Where treatment is provided by the City of Stockton, an additional permit may be issued by the City of Stockton pursuant to the wastewater discharge permit provisions of the Stockton Municipal Code.

5-6201 - PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED.¶
A person who is required to but does not have a permit and who has been notified by the Director in writing that he is required to obtain a permit pursuant to the provisions set forth herein shall within fifteen (15) days apply for the required permit. Failure to do so shall constitute a wilful violation thereof.

5-6202 - APPLICATION FOR PERMIT.¶
Any person requiring a permit hereunder shall make a written application to the Director. The applicant shall give a description of the parcel to be served and such other information concerning the proposed disposal as the Director may require in order to determine that there will be compliance with the provisions hereof.

5-6203 - PERMIT ISSUED BY DIRECTOR.¶
If it appears from the application for a permit that the proposed disposal complies with the provisions set forth herein, the Director shall issue such permit.

5-6204 - LIMITATIONS OF PERMIT.¶
The Director may issue a permit containing limitations or conditions or both or may modify an existing permit by the addition or elimination of such conditions and limitations as may be necessary to accomplish the purpose hereof.

5-6205 - SUSPENSION OF PERMIT.¶
When a violation hereof creates conditions which are so aggravated that immediate cessation of operation is necessary, and the Director so finds that as a fact, he may suspend the permit and serve written notice of such suspension on the permittee. The Director may also suspend a permit if objectionable conditions listed in a notice to correct are not corrected within the time stipulated.

5-6206 - DISCONTINUANCE OF DISCHARGE.¶
A person whose permit has been suspended or revoked, as provided for herein, shall immediately discontinue the discharge of industrial waste, sewage or effluent and shall not resume such deposit or discharge until the permit has been reinstated or a new permit has been issued.

5-6207 - PERMITS NOT TRANSFERABLE.¶
Permits issued hereunder are not transferable from one location to another nor from one person to another, and discharge of wastes shall be made strictly in accordance with all provisions contained in the permit, at the location specifically designated therein.
