Section 1013 — EXIT SIGNS

1013.1 Add the following sentence after the exceptions:

Doorways or other openings leading to a fire escape, except within individual dwelling units, shall be provided with a sign reading “FIRE ESCAPE” i n l etters not less than 6 inches (152 mm) high, in high contrast with the background.
