The Executive Director of the Department of Emergency Management, subject to the general supervision of the Mayor, shall be responsible for the development, management, and implementation of the City’s emergency plans and coordination of emergency services. The Executive Director shall collaborate with the Disaster Council by providing regular updates and reports, ensuring alignment between the Council’s advisory responsibilities and the Department’s strategic objectives and functions.
