Sec. 30-156. - Required.¶
Every person conducting a patrol system shall first procure a state license, pursuant to Business and Professions Code § 7520. In addition, each patrol system must obtain a business permit pursuant to section 22-215 of this Code and a business license from the city.

Sec. 30-157. - Information required.¶
(a) Every person conducting a duly licensed patrol system shall file a statement with the city clerk containing the following information:
(1) The name and address of the licensee.
(2) If the licensee is a partnership, the names and addresses of all partners.
(3) If the licensee is a corporation, the names and addresses of the corporate officers and manager, and a certified copy of the resolution authorizing such a license.
(4) The district or territory to be served by the patrol system, as well as a description of each parcel of property patrolled.
(5) A description of the methods of operation.
(6) The names and addresses of all patrol officers who are or will be owners, officers or employees of the patrol system.
(7) A statement as to what offenses, if any, any person mentioned in subsection (a)(1), (2) or (3) of this section has been convicted or arrested for and of the time, place and circumstances thereof.
(8) Such other information as either the council or the chief of police may require.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to provide any false information in the required statement.
