Sec. 14-76. - Keeping generally.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no person shall keep or maintain any goat, cow, calf, bull, ox, pig or swine on any premises within the city.

Sec. 14-77. - Manner of tethering.

It shall be unlawful for the owner or person in possession or control of any horse, mule, cow or other livestock to tether the livestock upon any unenclosed lot or land within the city in such manner that the rope or other attachment by which the livestock is tethered will permit it to be or to go beyond the boundary of such lot or land.

Sec. 14-78. - Permit to keep in open corral.

No person shall keep more than one cow or two horses, mules, goats, burros or jacks in an open corral within the city unless he first obtains a permit from the health officer.

Sec. 14-79. - Restrictions on location for keeping.

No person shall keep any cow, goat, horse, mule, burro or jack within 100 feet of any structure on adjacent property used for dwelling purposes, food preparation, food service or a hospital, clinic, school, hotel or other public meeting place.
