San Clemente Municipal Code Ch. 12.12 Driveways

Specification A-10, Plan of Standard Driveways for the City, submitted to the City Council by W. A. Ayer and approved on March 5, 1951, and hereby reapproved, is adopted as the plan of standard driveways for access to and from the public streets and alleys of the City.

Every person, before connecting any driveway to a street or alley of the City shall obtain a permit from the Building Inspector of the City for construction of the same.

A fee of one dollar ($1.00) shall be paid for each permit issued under the provisions of Section 12.12.020.

The construction of driveways shall be in conformity with Specification A-10, referred to in Section 12.12.010.

(Prior code § 31-6)

The Building Inspector, before issuing a permit for the installation of a driveway, may require a plan of the proposed construction to be submitted to the Building Inspector.

(Prior code § 31-7)

The Building Inspector is authorized to inspect the work of construction of driveways in order to determine whether Specification A-10 has been complied with, as referred to in this chapter.
