§ 2.54.010 SATURDAY.

In accordance with the provisions of the Cal. Gov’t Code, § 6704, it is declared and provided that every Saturday is a holiday as respects the transaction of business in the public offices of the city, excepting that such provisions shall not be applicable to the Water, Police or Fire Departments or the essential public services rendered by said departments.
