Article XVIII — INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IMPACT FEE

This article shall be known as the “Information Technology Impact Fee.” (Ord. 962, § 39, 2017)

The purpose of this article is to impose development impact fees to fund the cost of information technology infrastructure and equipment, the need for which is generated by new development within the county. (Ord. 962, § 40, 2017)

The Information Technology Impact Fee shall be imposed on new development within the county in the amount of $266 for each single family residence, $244 for each multi-family residence, $0.051 per square foot of commercial development, $0.039 per square foot of office development, and $0.023 per square foot of industrial development. (Ord. 962, § 41, 2017)

No building permit shall be approved or issued for property within the county unless the development impact fee for that property is paid as required by this article.
