Sacramento Municipal Code Art. I In General

Every person engaged in doing construction or remodeling work of any kind within the city, who employs people to do his or her work for him or her, and where no sewer connection is available, shall provide a temporary sanitary privy for each twenty (20) people, or fractional part thereof, working at each job site. Every sanitary privy installed in accordance with the provisions of this section shall consist of either a patented chemical type or a pit privy type and shall be maintained and operated in accordance with rules and regulations as approved by the health officer. All persons engaged in the business of cleaning out vaults and cesspools in the city shall file a written statement on the first day of each month with the health officer. Such statement shall contain the number of barrels or loads removed from each cesspool or vault, the name of the parties owning the premises where such work is done, and the location of the premises. (Prior code § 21.01.002)

All persons engaged in the business of cleaning out vaults and cesspools in the city shall file a bond in the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) in favor of the city, with two good and sufficient sureties, that they will faithfully observe the provisions of the preceding section. Such bond shall be approved by the health department and filed with the secretary of the health department. (Prior code § 21.01.003)
