12.22.010 - Prohibition or limitations on possession, consumption, or use of alcohol…¶
The city council may by resolution:
A. Prohibit the possession, consumption, and use of alcohol and/or possession of animals, as defined in Section 6.04.020, in a public park or place for a temporary period as specified in the resolution; or
B. Limit for a temporary period as specified in the resolution, the possession, consumption, and use of alcohol and/or the possession of animals, as defined in Section 6.04.020, to a defined area within a public park or place during an authorized event occurring within a public park or place.

12.22.020 - Posting of public park or place subject to a prohibition or limitation.¶
A. When the city council adopts a resolution pursuant to Section 12.22.010, the property that is subject to the prohibition or limitation shall be posted with signs stating the dates of the prohibition or limitation and the nature of the prohibited or limited activity.
B. Signs shall be posted in prominent locations on or about the property that is subject to the prohibition or limitation at least twelve hours prior to the time such prohibition or limitation shall be enforced.

12.22.030 - Restrictions on alcohol and animals.¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to consume or use any alcoholic beverage or to have in his or her possession any container of beer, wine, or any alcoholic beverage, or intoxicating liquor and/or possess any animal, as defined in Section 6.04.020, in any public park or place where the possession, consumption, or use would violate a prohibition or limitation adopted by the city council pursuant to Section 12.22.010. The prohibition or restrictions on animals shall not include service animals defined as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

12.22.040 - Violation.¶
A person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
