15.52.010 - System designated.¶
The following system for the numbering of the buildings in the city is adopted:
A. One hundred numbers are allowed for each six hundred sixty feet of any street.
B. One number is allowed for each twenty feet of frontage on any street.
C. Even numbers are placed on the north and west side of streets, and odd numbers on the south and east side of streets.
D. The north and south dividing line is First Street and Rialto Avenue, and the east and west dividing line is Riverside Avenue.
E. All numbers begin at the dividing lines with the number one hundred or over.

15.52.020 - City engineer's duty.¶
It is the duty of the city engineer to designate the respective starting points for numbers to be placed on, and also the respective numbers for, buildings and entrances fronting on streets, and to give written notice to the owner, occupant, lessee, tenant or subtenant of such building or entrance. The street and building numbers shall comply with the requirements of the California Fire Code as adopted and amended by this jurisdiction in RMC Chapter 15.28.

15.52.030 - Required.¶
It is unlawful to keep or maintain any building or entrance on the streets without the proper number being placed thereon.

15.52.040 - Violation.¶
It is unlawful and an infraction for any person, firm or corporation to violate Section 15.52.030 of this chapter.
