Editor's note— Ord. No 2544, § 8(Exh. F), adopted Feb. 10, 2025, repealed former Art. IV, § 15.30, and enacted a new Art. VI, §§ 15.55—15.57 as set out herein. The former Art. IV pertained to penalties, and derived from Ord. No. 2152, § 5, adopted Nov. 16, 1998.

Sec. 15.55. - ENFORCEMENT:

A. In addition to the enforcement authorized by the specific Articles of this Chapter, the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee may enforce this Chapter consistent with the provisions herein.

B. Violations of this Chapter may be enforced as citations, infractions, or misdemeanors at the discretion of the law enforcement agency, including code enforcement.

C. This Section shall not be interpreted to limit the applicable civil or administrative remedies available under law.

Sec. 15.56. - PUBLIC NUISANCE:

Any violation of this Chapter is hereby declared a public nuisance, subject to all applicable civil, administrative, and criminal remedies and may be abated by the City.

Sec. 15.57. - COMPLIANCE MONITORING:

Compliance with this Chapter may be monitored by the City Manager or their designee. In addition, law enforcement, including code enforcement, may enforce the provisions of this Chapter. The City Manager may designate additional persons to monitor and facilitate compliance with this Chapter.
