5.08.005: ESTABLISHMENT:¶
The rates of license for the businesses, trades, professions, exhibitions and occupations hereinafter named are established for and within the city as in this chapter set forth. (Ord. 2980 § 1, 2025: Prior code § 2201)
5.08.010: RATE FOR UNDETERMINED CLASSIFICATION:¶
Every person, firm or corporation conducting, managing or carrying on any business of any kind in the city, and not otherwise provided for, shall pay a license fee of twenty four dollars ($24.00) annually. (Ord. 2980 § 1, 2025: Prior code § 2202)
5.08.015: CONSTITUTIONALITY; PROVISIONAL FEE:¶
If any article, section, sentence, clause or phrase of this chapter or chapter 5.04 of this title is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this chapter or chapter 5.04 of this title; and in the event that any license fee or classification shall be discriminatory, unreasonable, or prohibitory, and invalid, then in that event that license fee for such business or classification thereof shall be the sum of twenty four dollars ($24.00).
