5.72.440: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Any user or subscriber to an ambulance service contending that he has been required to pay an excessive charge for service or that he has received unsatisfactory services may file a written complaint with the city manager setting forth such allegations. The city manager shall notify the affected permittee of such complaint, and shall investigate the matter to determine the validity of the complaint. If the complaint is determined to be valid, the city manager shall provide the county health officer with the documentation and request reasonable and proper action to secure compliance with the conditions of this chapter.
