2.28.010 - Holidays; town offices closed.¶
A. State holidays listed in Government Code Section 6700, including Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Cesar Chavez Day and Thanksgiving Day apply to the town.
B. Town offices shall be closed on state holidays, with the exception of Lincoln Day, Admission Day, Columbus Day, Cesar Chaves Day and Veterans Day.
C. If January 1 st , July 4 th or December 25 th falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is a holiday. If January 1 st , July 4 th or December 25 th falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday is a holiday.
D. Town hall may be closed the day after Thanksgiving and on the intervening days between December 25 th and January 1 st , but these days shall not be considered holidays for the purposes of other sections of the Municipal Code.
