Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction. Any person who shall be convicted of a violation of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of an infraction and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00). (Ord. 1162 § 1, 12-5-1978)

17-18.1: CONSTITUTIONALITY:

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this chapter is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this chapter. The council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional.
