17-62.3: PARKING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY; REGULATED:¶
No person shall park or operate a vehicle upon a private driveway or upon private property within the city of Porterville without the actual or implied consent of the owner or person in lawful possession of such driveway or said person's agents or employees; nor shall a person continue to park or operate a vehicle upon such driveway or property, once said consent has been withdrawn. 17-62.4: PARKING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY; REGULATED; SIGN:¶
The sign to be posted, pursuant to California Vehicle Code section 22658(a)(1), by the owner or person in lawful possession of any private property, desiring to prohibit public parking and further desiring to have vehicles towed away at the vehicle owner's expense, shall comply with the provisions of Vehicle Code section 22658(a)(1) and shall further display, in plain view, at all entrances to the property, a sign at least seventeen inches (17") in height and twenty two inches (22") in width, with letters not less than one inch (1") in height of a "C-stroke" width. The content of the sign shall be in compliance with the requirements of Vehicle Code section 22658(a)(1). (Ord. 1537 § B59, 8-6-1996)
