Sec. 2-1.201. - Salaries.

(a) Salaries. Effective October 1, 2002 the salary for any member of the Board of Supervisors that chooses to participate in the Public Employee's Retirement System shall be set at Thirty-Five Thousand Fifty and no/100ths ($35,050.00) Dollars per year while the salary for any member of the Board of Supervisors that chooses not to participate in the Public Employee's Retirement System shall be set at Thirty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred and no/100ths ($37,500.00) Dollars per year. Thereafter, the salary for each Supervisor shall be adjusted on the first day of the first pay period starting in July of each year based on the percentage change in the California Consumer Price Index, all urban consumer series using the "April to April" comparison. The salary for Supervisor shall be paid in the same manner as has been established for other full-time elected officials in Plumas County.

(b) Benefits. Benefits for each member of the Board of Supervisors shall be the same as that established for other full-time elected officials in Plumas County except that the office of Supervisor would only be eligible for mileage reimbursement for miles driven in the course of County business and not for a vehicle or car allowance should one be established.

Sec. 2-1.202. - Public Employees Retirement System contributions.

For each member of the Plumas County Board of Supervisors who is enrolled in the Public Employees Retirement System, the County shall pay all of the County's share of the required retirement contributions and four (4%) percent of the member's salary as part of the member's share of the required retirement contributions.

Sec. 2-1.203. - Longevity adjustment.

A member of the Board shall receive a salary increase of five (5%) percent at the following times: upon the completion of seven (7), ten (10), fourteen (14), eighteen (18), and twenty-one (21) years of full-time continuous service, or the equivalent, measured from the date of taking office or the date of hire, whichever is appropriate.
