§ 22.04.010. Statutory authority.

The city council, in conformity with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act now embodied in Title 7, (commencing with Section 66410) of the Government Code of California, as they now exist or may hereafter be amended, does ordain as follows in this title. (Ord. 88-O-117 § 1, 1988)

§ 22.04.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this title is to promote the public health, safety, convenience and general welfare; to establish criteria for the design, improvement and survey data of subdivision; and to set out the form and content of tentative maps, parcel maps, and final maps thereof. The procedure to be followed in securing official approval shall be governed by the provisions of this title, and shall comply with the provisions of the zoning title, and shall conform to the adopted specific plans of streets and highways and to the general plan of the city.
