SEC. 2.141 ESTABLISHED¶
The holidays in this City are New Year's Day (January 1st), Washington's Birthday (third Monday in February), Good Friday from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Memorial Day (last Monday in May), Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day (first Monday in September), Columbus Day (second Monday in October), Veteran's Day (fourth Monday in October), Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November), the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (December 25th). If any of the above holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday will be a holiday, and if any of the above holidays falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be a holiday. (Ord.
