Sec. 4-6.601. - Inspection of records.

(a) The owner shall, upon written request from the Chief of Police or Director of Finance, deliver to the Director of Finance all of his books and records pertaining to the operation of vehicle for hire for a period of twenty-four (24) calendar months, next preceding the date of such request, for inspection by the City Auditor.

(b) Unless such books and records are delivered to the Director of Finance within fifteen (15) days from the date of such request, the certificate and all other permits of the owner and drivers shall be suspended on the sixteenth day from the date of such request, until the books and records are delivered or such certificates and/or permits are revoked, whichever is sooner.
