Sec. 2-5.601. - Declaration of qualification.

The City hereby declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State pursuant to the provisions of Section 13522 of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of Part 4 of the Penal Code of the State.

Sec. 2-5.602. - Declaration of adherence to standards.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 13510(c) of Chapter 1 of the Penal Code, the City, while receiving aid from the State pursuant to the provisions of said Chapter 1, shall adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.

Sec. 2-5.603. - Inquiries by the State Commission.

Pursuant to Section 13512 of Chapter 1, the Commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that the City's public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
