Sec. 2-5.301. - Office established.

The office of the City Clerk shall be established in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the State and other applicable laws.

Sec. 2-5.302. - Appointment.

The City Clerk shall be appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the City Manager.

Sec. 2-5.303. - Duties and obligations.

The City Clerk shall have the duties and obligations assigned to the office of the City Clerk as set forth in the general laws of the State or in City regulations and laws.

Sec. 2-5.304. - Acting City Clerk appointed when.

In the event of the unavailability or incapacity of the City Clerk, the City Manager may appoint an Acting City Clerk who shall have the duties and powers of the City Clerk.
