Sec. 2-5.101. - City Manager, City Clerk and City Treasurer.¶
Prior to entering upon the duties of their offices, the City Manager, City Clerk and City Treasurer shall each execute a corporate surety bond in favor of the City in such amount as may be determined by the City Council by resolution, upon recommendation by the City Attorney. Said bonds shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the official duties imposed upon each employee by this Code and shall conform to the provisions of Section 36518 of the Government Code. Any premiums for such bonds shall be a proper charge against the city.
