Sec. 1-8-1. - Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act.¶
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange hereby elects to become subject to the uniform construction cost accounting procedures set forth in Chapter 2 of Part 3 of Division 2 of the California Public Contract Code.

Sec. 1-8-2. - County highways.¶
Nothing in this division shall prohibit the Board of Supervisors or the Director of the Environmental Management Agency from using, as an alternative to the procedures set forth in this division, the procedures set forth in Article 25 (commencing with Section 20390) of Chapter 1 of Part 3 of Division 2 of the California Public Contract Code which apply to contracts for the construction, repair or maintenance of County highways.
