§ 10-11.901. Allotments for annexed property.

The commercial development figures and the square footage allotments for commercial development in Exhibit A attached to the ordinance codified in this chapter, which by this reference is made a part of this chapter as though fully set forth in this section, are based on the City's corporate limits as of January 1, 1989.

In the future, annexations to the City may increase the City's potential for commercial development above the limits imposed by this chapter.

In the event of an annexation after the adoption or amendment of this chapter, the City Council, at the time of the annexation, shall assess and determine the commercial allotment potential of the annexed property. The City Council, at the time of annexation, shall establish procedures for the development and granting of allotments to owners of the annexed property independent of and in addition to the guidelines, procedures, and restrictions set forth in this chapter.
