5.33.010 - Imposed.

For each transfer of real property exempt from reassessment pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code Section 63.1 (transfer between parent and child or between grandparent and grandchild) in which the taxpayer does not file the exemption claim form at the same time the deed is recorded, the taxpayer shall pay a fee to the Assessor to process the exemption form.

5.33.020 - Exemption.

The fee imposed by this Chapter shall not apply if the taxpayer files the claim for exemption from reassessment pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code Section 63.1 at the same time the deed is recorded by the taxpayer.

5.33.030 - Fees—Specified by Board resolution.

The fees imposed by this Chapter shall be in amounts and for such services as shall from time to time be specified by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors in a separate resolution.
