4.52.010 - Live entertainment defined.

The term "live entertainment," as used in this chapter, shall not include entertainment provided by the use of a radio, music recording machine, or juke box, or any entertainment provided under the supervision of school authorities, the City, or any nonprofit organization or service club. However, it shall include any presentation or activity of any nature which is designed or intended to divert, amuse, or attract the attention of persons observing such presentation or activities, including, but not limited to, any type of presentation in which live entertainers or performers appear before an audience of any number of persons. "Live entertainment" shall include any activity or presentation involving live entertainers or performers engaged in the exposure of "specified anatomical areas" or in "specified sexual activities" as defined in Section 11.40.030 of this Code under "adult-oriented businesses."

4.52.020 - Permit required.

No person shall operate, conduct, or manage any public place or place open to the public where any form of live entertainment is provided or furnished without first obtaining an entertainment permit as provided in this chapter.

4.52.030 - Hours of entertainment.

It is unlawful to operate, conduct, carry on, or participate in any live entertainment between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
