4.24.010 - Gaming club prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person to engage in, carry on, maintain or conduct any gaming club or card room within the territorial limits of the City. It is the intent by this enactment to exercise the City's jurisdiction over gaming clubs and card rooms and to prohibit them in the City.

4.24.020 - Establishment not permitted.

The City Council finds and determines that to permit the establishment and operation of gaming clubs in the City would be contrary to the public health, safety and welfare of residents of the City.

4.24.030 - Applications not accepted.

No application to establish or operate a gaming club in the City shall be accepted or processed unless and until the electors of the City affirmatively approve a measure permitting legal gambling within the City.
