15.12.010 Purpose.¶

This chapter is for the purpose of regulation and raising revenues in providing the privileges, services and regulations in connection and related to the issuing and use of permits for electrical, plumbing and building within the city. (Ord. 152 § 1, 1978)

15.12.020 Applicability.¶

The fees set out in this chapter shall be charged to those persons, corporations or any other entities upon the issuing of permits in connection with electrical, plumbing and building activities within the city. (Ord. 152 § 2 (part), 1978)

15.12.030 Electrical permit fees.¶

Electrical permit fees are as follows:

A. Minimum fee	$30.00
B. Permit	9.00
C. Per outlet or switch	60
D. Meter	6.00
E. Range	2.00

F. Separate oven	2.00
G. Water heater	1.50
H. Per electric heater	1.80
I. Wall recess heater	6.30
J. Per fan	1.05
K. Garbage disposal	1.05
L. Duct heating system	30.30
M. One-fourth horsepower to one horsepower motors	1.50
N. One horsepower to two horsepower motors	2.25
O. Two horsepower to five horsepower motors	6.00
P. Five horsepower to fifteen horsepower motors	10.50

15.12.040 Plumbing permit fees.¶

Plumbing permit fees are as follows:

A. Minimum	$30.00
B. Permit	9.00
C. Per fixture	6.00
D. Water heater	6.00

E. For each gas piping system of one to four	6.00
outlets
F. For each gas piping system of five or more, per outlet	1.50
G. For each industrial waste pretreatment	6.00
interceptor, including its trap and vent, excepting kitchen-type grease interceptors functioning as fixture traps
H. Installation, alteration or repair of water piping and/or water treating equipment	6.00
I. Repair or alteration of drainage or vent piping	6.00
J. For vacuum breakers or backflow-protective devices on tanks, vats, etc., or for installations on unprotected plumbing fixtures including necessary water piping, one to four	6.00
K. Five or more, each	1.50

15.12.070 Use of revenues.¶

All of the sums collected pursuant to this chapter shall be deposited in the general fund of the city and used for the purpose referred to in Section 15.12.010. (Ord. 152 § 3, 1978)
