§ 11.28.010. Definitions.

The terms "bicycle path," "bike path," "bicycle trail," and "bike trail" as used in this chapter mean a specifically designated area for bicycle travel, separated from the roadway in such manner that an intervening space or physical barrier exists between such bicycle path and the roadway so that the bicycle path is not contiguous to the outer edge of the paved highway shoulder.

§ 11.28.020. Use restricted.

No person shall operate any motor vehicle, or any animal-drawn vehicle or ride or drive any horse, mule or other animal upon any bicycle path or bicycle trail.

§ 11.28.030. Violation—Penalty.

Every person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction such person shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not to exceed six months, or by both such fine or imprisonment.
