Sec. 8.40.010 - Definitions.

The word "fireworks" as used in this Chapter is defined by Health and Safety Code Section 125.11. Additionally the word "fireworks" also includes both "dangerous fireworks" as defined by Health and Safety Code section 12505 and "safe and sane fireworks" as defined by Health and Safety Code section 12529.

Sec. 8.40.020 - Declarations.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to have in his or its possession, or too keep, store, use, shoot, discharge, set off, ignite, manufacture, sell, give or transport any fireworks within the County of Mendocino, except for use in a public display of fireworks, pursuant to a permit obtained under the provisions of Health and Safety Code sections 12570, et seq.

Sec. 8.40.030 - Penalties.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
