Sec. 17-94. - Land Division Violations.

The Subdivision Committee shall review all applications for permits from the Planning and Building Services Department and Division of Environmental Health which the Departments have deter-mined to pertain to parcels of land which there is reasonable grounds to believe have been divided in violation of this Chapter. The Subdivision Committee shall have the power to require maps and other information reasonably necessary to determine whether a violation has in fact occurred and shall have the power to grant or deny the permit applied for. The Subdivision Committee shall determine what conditions and improvements are reasonably required in the public interest and for the protection of an applicant's property and of neighboring property.

Sec. 17-95. - Building and Health Permits.

Whenever an application is made for a building permit or a permit issued by the Division of Environmental Health, the Building Inspector or the Health Officer, as the case may be, shall review the application to determine whether the parcel of land for which the permit is applied for has been divided in violation of this Chapter. If reasonable grounds exist to believe that such a violation has occurred, the permit applied for shall not be issued until the matter has been reviewed by the Subdivision Committee and the appropriate conditions imposed.
