8.28.010 - Unlawful killing of four-legged animals.

No person shall and it shall be unlawful for any person to kill, slaughter and/or butcher any four-legged animal within the city unless such killing, slaughtering and/or butchering is performed by a person licensed by the county of Kern and/or the state of California to engage in such activity at a duly licensed facility or any public school facility.

8.28.020 - Violation—Penalty—Misdemeanor.

Any person convicted of violating the provisions of Section 8.28.010 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished pursuant to Section 1.20.010 and supplemented by Chapter 1.16 of the McFarland Municipal Code.
