10-1.01 - Declaration of need.¶
It is hereby declared that it is and will be for the best interests of the people of the City that a Tree Planting and Parkway Commission be appointed to act and perform any and all duties which may be necessary and required of such Commission for the maintenance and planting of trees in the parkways and streets of the City.

10-1.02 - Created.¶
The Tree Planting and Parkway Commission is hereby created.

10-1.03 - Membership: Terms.¶
The Tree Planting and Parkway Commission shall consist of not less than five (5) members who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Council to hold office for a period of two (2) years.

10-1.04 - Vacancies.¶
If any vacancy is created on the Tree Planting and Parkway Commission by the resignation or death of any member, the Mayor, with the consent of the Council, shall appoint a successor for the unexpired term created by the resignation or death of such member of the Commission.
