6.12.030 Violation--Penalty

6.12.010 Use Of Live Dog Or Cat As Bait Unlawful

It is unlawful for any person to hunt or trap, or attempt to hunt or trap, any wild animal by using a live dog or cat as bait to attract such wild animals. It is unlawful for any person to train a hunting dog, or attempt to train a hunting dog, by using a live dog or cat as bait or game in such training.

6.12.020 Traps And Animals To Be Identified

It is unlawful for any person to hunt or trap, or attempt to hunt or trap with any traps or animals unless said traps and animals are sufficiently marked to identify the owners thereof.

Violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable under Chapter 1.20, the general penalty provisions of this code.
