§ 8-5.01. Purpose.¶
Park Acquisition and Improvement Fees shall be used for the following purposes:
(a) The improvement of the existing park lands; and
(b) The acquisition and development of new park lands as determined necessary by the Council.

§ 8-5.02. Required.¶
For any dwelling unit constructed or mobile home park space developed there shall be a Park Acquisition and Improvement Fee to be set by the Council and to be paid at such time prior to obtaining a building permit and the start of construction within the City.

§ 8-5.03. Park Acquisition and Improvement Fund Account.¶
The Director of Finance shall deposit Park Acquisition and Improvement Fees into a Master Park Acquisition and Improvement Fund Account to be used exclusively for the purpose of park acquisition and improvements as set forth in Section 8-13.01 of this chapter.
