17.04.1170 - Operation of motor vehicles prohibited where.¶

A person shall not operate any motor vehicle on or over any firebreak or any fire protection roads which are posted against public use and provided with locked gates, or operate any motor vehicle on or over any riding or hiking trail, including a riding and hiking trail established under Article 6 of Chapter 1 of Division 5 of the Public Resources Code of the state of California, except as otherwise provided in Section 17.04.370 of this chapter.
