Sec. 4-4.14. - Violations—Misdemeanors; remedies.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to punishment in accordance with section 1-2.01 et. seq. of this Code.

Sec. 4-4.15. - Same—Additional remedies, injunctions.

As an additional remedy, the operation or maintenance of any device, instrument, vehicle or machinery in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed and is declared to be a public nuisance, and may be subject to abatement summarily by a restraining order or injunction issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Sec. 4-4.16. - Future review.

It is the intention of the City of Lomita to review this chapter periodically, at intervals not to exceed five (5) years, with the objective of gradually lowering the numerical noise limits as progress is made toward quieter machinery and vehicles.
