6.28.010 Animals Prohibited From Being Kept Within All Districts

The following animals are prohibited from being kept within all districts:

Dangerous dogs, as defined by CA Food and Agriculture Code Section 31601;

Fighting cocks;

Zoo animals;

Endangered animals;

Predatory wild animals;

Poisonous reptiles;

Poisonous arachnids; and

Bees; including apiaries, hives or other device or devices containing any colony or colonies of bees.

6.28.020 Animals Prohibited From Being Kept Within The R And RM Residential Districts

The following animals are prohibited from being kept within the R and RM residential districts:

Horses;

Cows;

Goats;

Sheep;

Other equine, bovine, avian, or ruminant animals;

Pigs, including potbellied pigs;

Ducks;

Geese;

Turkeys;

Roosters; and

Peacocks.
