Sec. 8-4-175. - General standards.

All Portland cement concrete shall conform to the provisions of section 90 of the state specifications, except as in modified in this article.

Sec. 8-4-176. - Class A.

Class A concrete shall contain 564 pounds (six sacks) of Portland cement per cubic yard.

Class B concrete shall contain 470 pounds (five sacks) of Portland cement per cubic yard.

Class C concrete shall contain 376 pounds (four sacks) of Portland cement per cubic yard.

Sec. 8-4-185. - Cement.

Portland cement, including Portland cement used in precast products, shall be type II or type V, conforming to the specifications of ASTM designation C-150.

Sec. 8-4-186. - Reinforcing.

The reinforcing steel shall be deformed new billet steel bars, intermediate or hard grade, conforming to the specifications of ASTM designations A-15 and A-408 or A-305.
