12.24.010 - One-way traffic signs.¶
Whenever any ordinance or resolution of this city designates any one-way street or alley, the city traffic engineer shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulations shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.

12.24.020 - One-way streets and alleys designated.¶
The streets or portion of streets in this city hereinafter described are hereby defined and established as one-way streets and alleys and shall be governed by the provisions of Section 12.24.010.
ALTA LANE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within Alta Lane except in a northerly direction.
CENTER STREET: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle on Center Street between Guild Street and Commercial Street except in an easterly direction.

COMMERCIAL STREET: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle on Commercial Street east of Center Street except in a westerly and southerly direction.

CROWDER LANE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within Crowder Lane from its intersection with Lemon Avenue northwesterly to its intersection with La Mesa Boulevard except in a northwesterly direction.
EL CAPITAN DRIVE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the loop portion of El Capitan Drive except in a westerly direction on the northerly portion of the loop, in a southerly direction on the westerly portion of the loop, in an easterly direction on the southerly portion of the loop, and in a northerly direction on the easterly portion of the loop.
LINDEN WAY: It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle in a northerly direction on the westerly portion of Linden Way and unlawful to operate a vehicle on the easterly portion of Linden Way in the southbound direction.
NEBO DRIVE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within Nebo Drive from its intersection with U.S. Highway 80 to its intersection with Allison Avenue except in a southerly direction.
NEBO DRIVE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle on Nebo Drive, between La Mesa Boulevard and Lemon Avenue, except in a southerly direction.

SCHUYLER AVENUE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within Schuyler Avenue except in a northerly direction.
SPRING STREET:
(a) It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the easterly portion of Spring Street between El Cajon Boulevard and Center Street except in a northerly direction.
(b) It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the westerly portion of Spring Street between El Cajon Boulevard and Center Street except in a southerly direction.

ALLEY BETWEEN LA MESA BOULEVARD, ORANGE AVENUE AND ALLISON: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the public alley lying between La Mesa Boulevard and Orange Avenue and Allison Avenue between the intersection of the alley with the easterly line of Spring Street to the intersection of the alley with the southwesterly line of Allison Avenue except in an easterly direction.
ALLEY BETWEEN LEMON AVENUE AND LA MESA BOULEVARD: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the public alley lying between Lemon Avenue and La Mesa Boulevard from its intersection with the westerly line of Fourth Street to the easterly line of Palm Avenue except in a westerly direction.

ALLEY BETWEEN WILLIAMS AVENUE AND COMANCHE DRIVE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the public alley lying between Williams Avenue and Comanche Drive from its intersection with Mohawk Street to its intersection with El Cajon Boulevard, except in a southerly direction.
LEMON AVENUE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle on Lemon Avenue between Normal Avenue and Acacia Avenue except in a southeasterly direction.

ALLEY BETWEEN GRANT STREET AND LEMON AVENUE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle on the alley between Grant Street and Lemon Avenue, from Lemon on the easterly end to one hundred feet westerly of Lemon, except in a westerly direction.

ALLEY BETWEEN SPRING STREET AND PALM AVENUE: It is unlawful to operate any vehicle within the public alley lying between Spring Street and Palm Avenue from its intersection with Lemon Avenue to its intersection with Finley Avenue except in a southerly direction.
