10.16.010 - Jumping on or off prohibited.

No person shall jump or climb on or off any locomotive, or railroad train or car, while the same is in motion.

10.16.020 - Speed limit.

No person in charge, having control or directing the movement of any locomotive, or any railroad car, shall cause or permit any such locomotive, car, or cars, to be propelled along or across any of the street crossings of the city at a greater speed than seventy (70) miles per hour for passenger trains, and at a greater speed than sixty-five (65) miles per hour for freight trains; provided that when the engine or locomotive pulling any such train shall have passed over the last distant crossing lying wholly or partially inside the city limits of the city in the direction in which said train is then moving, it shall be lawful to increase the speed of said train.

10.16.030 - Blocking intersections.

No person in charge, having control, or directing the movement of any locomotive or any railroad cars, shall cause or permit the same to remain or stand across or in any way block a street crossing within the city so as to hinder or obstruct vehicular or pedestrian travel across the tracks at such street crossing for a period longer than five minutes.
