9.16.010 - Definitions.

As used in this chapter:

A. "Army" means the Army of the United States, including all agencies, branches and divisions thereof.

B. "Navy" means the Navy of the United States, including all agencies, branches and divisions thereof.

9.16.020 - Posting.

The Army or Navy may post at intervals of not more than one-half (½) mile around any such area substantial signs not less than one (1) square foot in area displaying prominently, in addition to such other information as may be desirable, the words "TRESPASSING FORBIDDEN BY LAW," in legible letters not less than two (2) inches in height.

9.16.030 - Entering posted areas without authority unlawful.

When any such area is posted, as provided in this chapter, it is unlawful for any person, except those in the service of the Army or Navy, to go upon or remain upon any place within the posted boundary of any such premises without having upon his person the express written consent of the Army or Navy.

9.16.040 - Defacing signs a misdemeanor.

Every person who tears down, defaces or destroys, or causes to be torn down, defaced or destroyed any sign posted under the provisions of this chapter without the consent of the Army or Navy is guilty of a misdemeanor.

9.16.050 - Violation—Penalty.

Every person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor.
