Sec. 13.15.010. - Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Motorcycle, motor-driven cycle, motor truck and motor vehicle are defined in the Vehicle Code and amendments thereto shall apply in this chapter.

Riders' and hikers' trails are those described and established under the California Recreational Trails Act (Pub. Resources Code Section 5070 et seq.).

Sec. 13.15.020. - Prohibited vehicles.

It is unlawful for any person to operate a motorcycle, motor-driven cycle, motor truck or motor vehicle on any riders' or hikers' trail within the city.

Sec. 13.15.030. - Exemptions.

The prohibitions in this chapter do not apply to persons and vehicles engaged in the performance of official duties in the described areas and to vehicular travel authorized by a resolution of the City Council.

Sec. 13.15.040. - Violations; penalties.

Any person in violation of this chapter is subject to the procedures and penalties set forth in Title 1.
