§ 2-1.401. Generally.

Minutes are prepared for all City Council and City Advisory Board meetings. Minutes are the official record of a meeting and reflect the type of meeting, when and where a meeting was held, beginning and ending times, officials present and absent, issues that were discussed, what action was taken, and how members voted.

(a) The minutes of the Council shall be kept by the City Clerk. The minutes shall be printed and filed in a permanent record book.

(b) The minutes shall include a record of all business discussed and all actions taken at regular or special meetings of the Council.
