The County of Humboldt hereby declares that it desires to receive aid from the State of California pursuant to Article 3, commencing with § 6040 of the California Penal Code. While receiving any State aid pursuant to Article 3, commencing with § 6040 of the California Penal Code, the County of Humboldt will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the Board of Corrections.
