12.12.010 - Certain streets in city declared by county to be county highways.¶
The county board of supervisors, acting pursuant to Section 1700 of the Streets and Highways Code of the state, did, on February 1, 1960, pass its Resolution No. 59-47 declaring the following streets in the city to be county highways, excepting those parts thereof that are parts of the state highway system:
A. All of Prospect Avenue and McCray Street between Hillcrest Road and Santa Ana Road (North Street);
B. Santa Ana Road and Buena Vista Road (North Street);
C. Nash Road and Tres Pinos Road;
D. Cienega Road between the southerly city limit line and Nash Road;
E. All of Line Street;
F. South Street between McCray Street and San Benito Street;
G. All of Fourth Street.

12.12.020 - Consent by city.¶
Section 1701 of the state Streets and Highways Code provides for the consent of the city to such declaration as described in Section 12.12.010 to be made by ordinance. The city does give its consent to the streets named in Section 12.12.010 becoming county highways with respect to the construction, maintenance, improvement and repair of such streets.

12.12.030 - Reservation of police power by city.¶
The city expressly reserves its police power over each of the streets described in Section 12.12.010, pursuant to Section 1703 of the state Streets and Highways Code.
